Kids who know how to read yet they still learn to comprehend each word, sentence and importance of punctuations fall under decoding readers. These kids, of age group between 7 to 9 years, know the basic level of reading but struggle to explain the words and phrases. They are taught to think about the perspective they have after reading a story.
